"Beatles Standards & Merseybeat classics." We come from Tampere, which is the old industrial city of Finland in the style of Liverpool, so we will play great tunes besides the Beatles from the bands like The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Hollies, The Searchers, Gerry and The Pacemakers among others too.
Bio: BEATLINE is a 60´s POP & Merseybeat group from Tampere, Finland, founded in 2007 and can be considered one of the top bands in its category in the Nordic countries.
BEATLINE has played on many 60´s occasions and venues through the years. To name a few, in 2014 the band got the invitation to the Liverpool Beatleweek also playing at the famous Cavern Club a few times. In 2015 the band played a great, sold out concert at the Tampere Beatles Happening in Finland and later on the same year Back To The Beatles Festival in Lapua, Finland. Besides festivals, there have been a great number of club gigs and also together with many Finnish famous artists.
The performances of BEATLINE are known for high spirit, energy and full of beautiful harmonies. The set list consists of both classic hits of the 60´s as well as some lesser known but great tunes – songs from the days when Rock was melodic, energetic and exciting. BEATLINE is currently preparing a new album consisting of both own songs in the 60’s style plus fine covers and it will be released shortly.
